To our knowledge, only two McGraw PC782 postcards have sold at auction in the past 15 years—and yet the original photo is rarer still. This is the first one we've ever seen, let alone heard of, and its existence is a significant discovery during the current boom time for all card-related original images, as prices have skyrocketed for photos directly used by card companies.
Thus, card collectors and photo collectors alike will be dutifully impressed by this cabinet of the legendary Little Napoleon, which showcases phenomenal image quality in terms of clarity and contrast...right down to the individual hairs in McGraw's carefully parted coiffure. Measuring approximately 5-3/4" x 7-3/4", it is mounted to the same-sized original board backing and presents quite nicely as about VG-EX/EX despite minor general surface wear including a few impression marks along the periphery. One never knows if or when such a treasure will ever surface again! This item has a reserve (estimated value $2,500 - 5,000).
