Outspoken in boxing, as well as in political matters, former Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali composed a historical message on this 8x5 lined index card. Penned in black marker, Ali’s penmanship is clear and reads: “Back in 1922 or 1923, when a debate was taking place in congress concerning appropriation of funds for Harvard University, a school set aside to train our people.” Comes with a full photo LOA from JSA. 

NOTE: It is assumed that this note card was part of a group of cards, hence the "18" in the upper right corner is assumed to have fallen between note card 17 and 19.
