The most prolific hitter of the 21st Century is spotlighted, with this Ichiro Suzuki signed, game-used bat. After tearing up the NPB league in Japan for nine years, Ichiro joined the Seattle Mariners in 2001, and astonished the baseball world, with ten consecutive seasons of 200+ hits. Some of those knocks came off the barrel of the offered Mizuno "Ichiro51" model bat.
From the personal collection of former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star second baseman Carlos Garcia, this sleek stick is as well sanctioned as it gets. A full photo LOA from PSA/DNA states the bat meets all the criteria for the leading certification service's top grade for game use ("GU 10"). The PSA/DNA LOA notes the labeling period as 2003-2006, and cites "outstanding use", including contact marks, baseball stitch impressions and cleat marks. Ichiro's number "51" is stamped into the knob, and for good measure the batting wizard has signed the barrel with ("9") potency, by means of a silver-felt tip pen.
In addition to the full photo LOA from PSA/DNA for game use, this bat is accompanied by a full photo LOA from JSA for the autograph, and a copy of an estate sale letter, signed by Catherine Garcia and Carlos Garcia.
